Defence Officers\u2019 Wives Association (CDOWA)<\/strong>, on <strong>Monday, October 6, 2025<\/strong>, paid a <strong>courtesy visit<\/strong> to the <strong>Special Education School for the Blind<\/strong> in <strong>Afara-Ukwu, Umuahia<\/strong>, Abia State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The visit, led by the Chairperson of the Association, <strong>Princess Mrs. Alice Akinsola<\/strong>, who was ably represented by <strong>Mrs. Rita Nwaogu<\/strong>, was aimed at demonstrating love and solidarity with the students through the donation of food items and the delivery of encouraging messages to inspire hope and confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In her remarks, <strong>Mrs. Nwaogu<\/strong> explained that the outreach was part of CDOWA\u2019s continuous effort to promote <strong>compassion, inclusivity, and community support<\/strong>, particularly for vulnerable groups within society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She emphasized that the association remains committed to supporting initiatives that uplift the less privileged and foster unity within communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>students and staff<\/strong> of the Special Education School for the Blind expressed profound gratitude to CDOWA for the thoughtful visit and generous donations, describing the gesture as <strong>timely, motivating, and deeply appreciated<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p
