The Katsina State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has reaffirmed its commitment to closer collaboration with the Nigerian Army\u2019s 17 Brigade in the fight against insecurity across the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This was highlighted during a courtesy visit by the State Commandant, AD Moriki (Acting)<\/strong>, to the Brigade Commander, Brigadier General BO Omopariola DSS, psc(Gh), psc(+), fdc<\/strong>, on Friday, 3rd October 2025, at the Brigade Headquarters, Natsinta Barracks, Katsina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Commandant Moriki explained that the visit was aimed at consolidating the existing relationship between the two security agencies and fostering greater synergy in tackling the state\u2019s security challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI am here on a familiarization tour and to seek your cooperation, collaboration, and continuous synergy in addressing the security challenges confronting Katsina State,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n He also reaffirmed the leadership vision of the NSCDC Commandant General, Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR<\/strong>, who has consistently emphasized inter-agency collaboration as a key strategy in combating crime nationwide.
