The Gombe State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening community partnerships as part of ongoing efforts to ensure peace, security, and humanitarian support in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This was emphasized during two separate courtesy visits to the State Commandant, CC Jibrin Idris<\/strong>, by the Jama\u2019atu Hadaratul Islamiyya<\/strong> (Islamic Teachers\u2019 Association) and the Yelmee Humanitarian and Development Initiatives (YHADI)<\/strong> at the NSCDC State Headquarters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Leading the delegation from Jama\u2019atu Hadaratul Islamiyya, Alhaji Muhammad Nuhu<\/strong>, the association\u2019s Chairman, commended the NSCDC\u2019s role in maintaining peace and security across the state. He applauded the leadership of Commandant Idris and encouraged the Corps to continue upholding the confidence reposed in it by citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In his response, Commandant Idris acknowledged the pivotal role of teachers in education and moral upbringing. He emphasized the Corps’ appreciation for institutions that promote positive values and community development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n During the visit by Mr. Emmanuel Ezekiel Shekari<\/strong>, Executive Director of YHADI, discussions centered on strengthening collaboration in humanitarian response and development initiatives. Mr. Shekari highlighted YHADI\u2019s interest in partnering with the NSCDC to better serve vulnerable populations in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Commandant Idris noted NSCDC\u2019s key responsibilities in disaster response and public protection.
