He emphasized that the conviction underscores the principle that individuals who incite violence and finance terrorism will be held accountable, regardless of where they operate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis verdict sends a clear message that there is no safe haven for individuals or groups sponsoring or encouraging acts of terror against Nigeria or any other sovereign nation,\u201d the CDS stated. \u201cThe Nigerian Armed Forces commend the Finnish authorities for their dedication to ensuring justice is served.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He also expressed profound gratitude to Nigerian security, intelligence, law enforcement agencies, and diplomats for their unwavering cooperation and diligent efforts in providing critical evidence that led to Ekpa\u2019s conviction. General Musa highlighted that this success exemplifies the importance of international collaboration in tackling transnational threats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The CDS reaffirmed the Armed Forces\u2019 commitment to continuing partnerships with global allies to dismantle terrorist networks and promote lasting peace and security throughout Nigeria.
