In a determined effort to bolster compliance with mining rules and regulations across Nasarawa State, the Solid Minerals and Development Unit of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nasarawa State Command, convened a high-level strategic meeting with the Miners Association of Nigeria (MAN), Nasarawa State Chapter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting, held at the Command Headquarters in Lafia, focused on deepening collaboration between the Corps and critical mining stakeholders in the state, with a strong emphasis on the enforcement of regulatory frameworks, responsible mining practices, and the protection of national mineral assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking during the engagement, the Head of the Solid Minerals and Development Unit Deputy Commandant Matthew Adegboye Adewale<\/em> reiterated the commitment of the Corps under the leadership of Commandant Muhammed Kabiru Ingawa<\/em> to promote sanity in the solid minerals sector.
