The donation was made under the auspices of the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI)<\/strong> during her visit to the state. A statement from her media aide, Busola Kukoyi, confirmed the announcement on Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n During the visit, Mrs. Tinubu expressed deep empathy for the victims and called on local leaders and elders to champion the cause of peace and reconciliation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI come here as a mother with a heavy heart. I sincerely hope this will be the last time I visit Plateau under such painful circumstances. Do not let the serpent strike again mend the broken hedge,\u201d she urged. \u201cNigeria is a beautiful nation, and Plateau should continue to be known as a land of peace and tourism.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n She further appealed to men in the communities to take up the responsibility of safeguarding women and children, encouraging a return to normalcy in farming, trading, and daily life. Her message to the youth centered on unity and peaceful coexistence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Governor Caleb Mutfwang, who received the donation on behalf of the state, pledged transparency in the disbursement of the funds, assuring that they would directly benefit those affected by the crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWherever the hedge has been broken, we will mend it. I take full responsibility for the funds.
