{"id":1103,"date":"2024-07-04T16:37:02","date_gmt":"2024-07-04T16:37:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/psmnigeria.org\/?p=1103"},"modified":"2024-07-04T16:37:06","modified_gmt":"2024-07-04T16:37:06","slug":"rainy-season-cp-dogo-meets-operational-commanders-orders-round-the-clock-visibility-patrol-effective-traffic-control","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/psmnigeria.org\/?p=1103","title":{"rendered":"RAINY SEASON: CP DOGO MEETS OPERATIONAL COMMANDERS, ORDERS ROUND-THE-CLOCK VISIBILITY PATROL, EFFECTIVE TRAFFIC CONTROL"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026 As CP Issues Security Advisory During Rainy Season, Directed for Continuous Public Enlightenment and Sensitization<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Salman Dogo Garba has convened a strategic meeting with the Command\u2019s Operational Commanders to guide against challenges and security risks with rainy season. ass<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the meeting at his office in the Bompai Police Headquarters Kano, the Commissioner of Police reminded the officers of the known security challenges that are always associated with rainy season. He therefore charged the Operational Commanders to ensure round-the-clock visibility patrols, respond rapidly to emergencies and distress calls and also directed for effective traffic control to ease movements during rain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, the CP also after appreciating Media Stations in the State for their cooperation, he charged the Public Relations Unit of the Command to continue to use the opportunity of the weekly public enlightenment programs to sensitize the public on security tips during rainy season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Law-abiding people of the State are advised to heed the following security tips during this reason.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">a. Be cautious of flooding: Avoid travelling of walking through flooded areas, especially when it is raining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">b. Rainy roads can be hazardous, so slow down and use extra caution while driving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">c. Avoid travelling or going outside during heavy rains, as it can be reduce visibility and increase the risk of accidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">d. Ensure you service motor vehicles, tricycles or motorcycles, including lights brakes, wipers, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"5\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Finally, the Commissioner of Police while appreciating the law-abiding people of the State for their support and cooperation, also urge everyone to keep reporting any suspicious movement of person(s) or item(s) they come across to the nearest
